Tony Khan On Ricky Starks Contract Status: He Is Still Under Contract, I’m Very Grateful And Excited About Having Him Here
Absolute is still All Elite.
At the AEW Revolution media scrum, Tony Khan was asked about the rumors that surfaced about Ricky Starks no longer being under contract with All Elite Wrestling, this comes after Starks and Big Bill lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to Sting and Darby Allin and since then, they have not been on TV since.
Khan addressed the rumors and made sure to make it known that Starks was still under contract and how grateful Khan was that Starks is still All Elite.
“No, Ricky’s definitely still under contract in AEW so I haven’t seen that but obviously we were doing Revolution today so it came out very good. Ricky was a big part of Sting’s run. He was Sting’s first match in AEW teaming with Brian Cage against Darby and Sting at Revolution three years ago and then to come back here three years later, of course Ricky and Big Bill, I’m very grateful.”
Khan then stated how excited he was that Starks is still part of AEW, knowing how much of a star they can build him into if the cards all fall in the right place.
