WWE Speed, a new show from the promotion, will include women’s matches. Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, the CCO, has confirmed this.
The show was announced in February 2024. It features three-minute matches, promoting rapid competition among participants. A tournament is in progress to determine the first WWE Speed Champion. The show is set to fully launch on Twitter/X this spring.
Until now, WWE Speed has only showcased male talent. However, Levesque stated that this is about to change. During an appearance on X Spaces with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, he announced that women will also compete in Speed matches.
