Kenny Omega is set to appear on AEW Dynamite tonight.
Regarding his return to the ring, the latest updates from Fightful Select suggest that Omega is not expected to resume in-ring activities soon. He is still recovering from diverticulitis, which sidelined him previously.
Omega’s appearance tonight is partly to help boost ticket sales among other reasons. Although he returned to traveling with AEW in 2022 after being sidelined, he had to return home because the travel was hindering his recovery.
It was initially thought that Omega would address recent actions by The Elite, who attacked Tony Khan last week. However, this has not been confirmed and may change before AEW Dynamite airs.
