Dana White Open to UFC-WWE Crossovers Without Vince McMahon’s Obstacles

WWE and UFC stars have different contracts, and for the most part they have stayed in their own lanes. That may change soon enough.

At the UFC St Louis post-show press conference, Dana White, the President of UFC, discussed the aspirations of many UFC fighters. He mentioned that these fighters have always dreamed of participating in a WWE match.

White is open to the possibility of UFC fighters making appearances in WWE events in the future. He clarified his stance by saying, “Some of the fighters that fight here have always dreamed about doing a WWE match or whatever it is, I don’t have a problem with that. I didn’t have a problem with that when Vince was consistently f*cking me for no reason and now that’s not the case anymore, obviously I’d absolutely do it.”

This statement reflects his previous and current views, even under the leadership of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. It used to be the mindset that UFC stayed away from WWE. Their fans didn’t look at pro wrestling favorably, but now that Endeavor is running the show, it seems that crossover is inevitable.

Additionally, it was noted that WWE NXT plans to host its special event, NXT Battleground, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. So, the ties between UFC and WWE are closer than ever.
