WWE released former World Champion Jinder Mahal from his contract, but he won’t stay silent for long. Odds are the Modern Day Maharaja will make a lot of noise once his 90-day non-compete clause is up.
Fightful Select reports that several leading independent wrestling organizations intend to contact Jinder Mahal for bookings. GCW has openly expressed interest. Black Label Pro and AIW have also publicly shown their desire to book him.
Sources also indicate interest in Mahal from abroad and Canada. The visibility of the Bollywood Boyz (also known as the Singhs) in the independent scene is likely to be beneficial.
We will have to see what Jinder Mahal does after this WWE run. He was released before and came back to become World Champion. He will likely make a ton of money along the way this time as well.
