Powerhouse Hobbs Posts Injury Update After Surgery

AEW’s Powerhouse Hobbs has shared an update on his recovery, three weeks after undergoing surgery to repair his patellar tendon.

The injury occurred during his IWGP World Championship challenge against Jon Moxley on the April 24th episode of AEW Dynamite. The patellar tendon, which connects the bottom of the kneecap to the top of the shin-bone, was damaged, necessitating the surgical intervention.

In a video posted to X, Hobbs is seen participating in his first physical therapy session since the surgery. This marks a significant step in his rehabilitation process, though no specific timeline for his return to the ring has been provided.

“1st PT session 3 week post op Patellar tenon repair,” he captioned the post. He seems to be working hard to make his comeback to the ring.

Hobbs had previously provided an update on his condition on May 5th, keeping his fans informed of his progress.
