Victor Taylor Perry’s Wrestling Club was in the middle of cheering their lungs out for one of their fan favorites, Willow Nightingale as she went to battle on the projector against one of her biggest rivals, Athena. But the kids had no idea what was about to come next as a special guest made a very special visit.
That special guest was the current AEW TBS Champion herself as the students jumped up out of their seats and shared hugs with Nightingale. You can watch the sweet, emotional video below on Twitter/X.
Nightingale commented on it after as she noted how she wished she had a Wrestling Club growing up so she could showcase how much her fandom for professional wrestling helped guide her to a career in the sport.
The Wrestling Club will be excited to watch Nightingale defend her TBS Championship against Mercedes Mone at AEW’s Double Or Nothing PPV event on May 26 in Paradise, Nevada.
