A few days ago, TNA Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to reveal that Laredo Kid would be defending his Digital Media Title against a member of the Fir$t Cla$$ group, AJ Francis.
Fightful Select has learned that AJ Francis defeated Laredo Kid to become the new TNA Digital Media Champion.
Francis debuted with TNA Wrestling at the Countdown To Hard To Kill pre-show when he got into a music battle with Joe Hendry.
Laredo Kid won the TNA Digital Media Title – his first title belt with TNA – a few weeks ago at the Countdown To Rebellion pre show on 4/20 when he defeated Crazzy Steve.
Laredo Kid successfully defended the Digital Media Title against free agent talent KC Navarro at the Countdown To Under Siege pre show on 5/3.
This is AJ Francis first TNA title reign of any kind since coming into the company.
In addition to the title change, Fightful Select is also reporting that:
– As reported, Jose The Assistant was in attendance. Lord Crewe, who just had an AJPW run, was also around.
– Shazza McKenzie ended up facing Gisele Shaw at the tapings on Sunday instead of Ash by Elegance. She also worked Xplosion Saturday.
– Jordynne Grace retained her Knockouts Title over Allysin Kay.
– Cody Deaner and Jake Something reunited as a team.
– Talented Canadian team Sinner & Saint worked the tapings. They had a fantastic match against Good Hands.
