Shingo Takagi Appears At STARDOM Event, Expresses Interest In A Mixed Tag Match Inside A STARDOM Ring
The fans attending the May 25th STARDOM IN KOFU 2024 event at the Kose Sports Park Main Arena were treated to surprise appearance by the current New Japan Pro-Wrestling NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi.
The STARDOM event took place in Takagi’s home prefecture of Yamanashi. In addition to promoting his 20th Anniversary show which is set for September 7th in Yamanashi, he praised STARDOM. Takagi stated that watches STARDOM TV programming every week and said that “The power of women’s pro wrestling is tremendous”. In addition, he shook hands with President Taro Okada to express his appreciation for STARDOM.
Takagi made it clear that he has interest in competing in a STARDOM ring in a mixed tag team bout. With NJPW set to fully acquire Bushiroad in June, Takagi competing in a mixed tag team match inside a STARDOM ring is a distinct possibility.
Takagi concluded his appearance by telling the fans to “get excited about STARDOM”.
