Drew McIntyre Promises That One Day The WWE Will Make Its Way To SGW Uganda

Drew McIntyre believes in the future.

SoftGround Wrestling in Uganda has been one of the most exciting promotions that have kicked off as of late. It’s been so big that wrestlers from around the world have shown their support for those who have competed for the promotion, even going as far as to donate money by starting a GoFundMe to help the crew with a ring, a championship belt, plus so much more.

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre took to social media where he expressed how happy he is to see the passion from the SGW roster, how it grabbed the attention of everyone around the industry, and that he would love to bring the WWE to Uganda so they can help with whatever they can for the crew.

“Mr. Sylus, Drew McIntyre here, just shooting a little message to say thank you so much for hosting Softground Wrestling on your land. I hear you’re a fan of Drew McIntyre, so I want to say thank you so much for all your support. I can also tell you I’m a big fan of yours. It’s awesome, what you’re doing to help everybody at SGW. Their passion has grabbed the attention of everybody in our industry, and I appreciate you for being such a big part of it. Hopefully, one day, WWE will make its way to your part of the world. We can host a show there. We can feel the passion through the screen from all the lads. Maybe we can grab a picture together. But until then, thank you,” McIntyre said.

Stars like KUSHIDA and Will Ospreay have also noted that they are excited to go soon to Uganda so they can see for themselves just how talented and tough the wrestlers are there.
