WWE Reportedly Makes “Very Generous Offer” To John Cena In Hopes To Make Him Change His Mind About Crown Jewel
As we have been reporting John Cena and Daniel Bryan have refused to travel to Saudi Arabia with WWE and work this Friday’s upcoming Crown Jewel PPV from Riyadh.
John Cena had previously been booked as a participant of the WWE World Cup Tournament which is scheduled to take place at Crown Jewel. But with Cena refusing to work the event, WWE was left to scramble and find a suitable replacement. It was announced earlier this week that Cena has officially been replaced by Bobby Lashley in the WWE World Cup.
According to a new report from our friend Brad Shepard, WWE apparently made Cena a “very generous offer to persuade him into re-considering his stance” regarding working this Friday’s Crown Jewel PPV. Obviously Cena turned down WWE’s offer as he is not making the trip to Saudi Arabia this week.
Regarding WWE’s offer to try and and make Cena re-consider working Crown Jewel, Shepard said:
“According to a source in #WWE, the company made John Cena a very generous offer to persuade him into re-considering his stance on working #WWECrownJewel – which of course, he declined.”
