It should be noted, as many fans have pointed out during last night’s WWE Clash of Champions PPV ring announcer Greg Hamilton didn’t pause for the ‘One Fall’ chant. Many have noticed that WWE’s ring announcers have been avoiding the pause more and more over the last few weeks, and in some cases the “one fall” chant has even been edited off TV completely.
According to Dave Meltzer, the reason for this is that Vince McMahon hates the “one fall” chant. Meltzer was asked about the chant on twitter, here is the exchange:
