AEW recently teased the debut of a new masked wrestler in a vignette that aired on the latest episode of AEW Collision, and we now know the identity of the mysterious masked man.
Sources have confirmed to me that the identity of the masked man many are calling “Hologram” is none other than former AAA Star Aramis. Sources relayed that he will not be using his former name and will debuting under a new persona, and that the deal came about over the last few weeks after AAA was unable to re-sign the star to a new deal.
I was not told however plans or a date for his debut, only that it is said to possibly be a “hacker” type gimmick.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about plans for the new masked wrestler set to debut in AEW.
