– Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.
Beth’s last in-ring appearance was in February 2023, and she has only competed in a few matches over the past two and a half years, most notably teaming with Edge/Adam Copeland.
Despite being 43 years old, sources indicate that Beth Phoenix is in incredible shape and could potentially return to competition if she so desires. There have been discussions about the possibility of her appearing in AEW, although it is unclear if any official conversations have taken place. Since Beth is her real first name, she could potentially go by Beth Copeland if she were to join AEW.
Beth Phoenix, also known as “The Glamazon,” had a successful career in WWE, showcasing her strength, athleticism, and in-ring skills. Debuting in WWE in 2006, Beth quickly made an impact in the women’s division with her dominant presence and powerful moves.
Throughout her WWE career, Beth Phoenix achieved several notable accomplishments, including winning the WWE Women’s Championship three times and the WWE Divas Championship once. She was known for her feuds with top female wrestlers such as Mickie James, Melina, and Natalya, showcasing her versatility and ability to deliver compelling matches.
Beth Phoenix also made history by becoming the second woman to enter the men’s Royal Rumble match in 2010, demonstrating her fearlessness and determination to break barriers in the male-dominated world of professional wrestling.
Her contributions to the women’s division and her impressive in-ring performances have solidified Beth Phoenix as a trailblazer and a respected figure in WWE history.
While there are no immediate plans in place, an AEW source has hinted that if Beth were to join the company, it would likely coincide with her husband Adam Copeland’s return from injury. Beth has been seen backstage at multiple AEW events.
Following the news of her free agency, several independent promoters have reached out to Fightful expressing interest in booking Beth for future events, indicating that there is outside interest in her services.
