During tonight’s NXT broadcast, NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer were backstage and quickly approached by The Rascalz. Trey Miguel brought up the fact that Wes & Wentz – known as MSK – never actually lost the NXT Tag Team Titles. Frazer says it would’ve been an awesome match. Trey says it can still happen and challenges them to a match tonight. Frazer says one will have to sit up, but Wentz says that it’s the Rascalz Reunion tour, so they’ll be fighting. Frazer then says they’ll find a partner for a six man tag team match later tonight.
Axiom & Frazier are backstage arguing about something, just as Je’Von Evans walks up and says he heard they need a partner tonight and he wants to team wit them. Both men agree.
After a fantastic match, Wentz pins one half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions, Axiom, to win the match.
This is the second week in a row that a TNA talent has scored a pinfall on NXT television. Last week, TNA star Joe Hendry teamed with Trick Williams to take on and defeat NXT Champion Ethan Page & Shawn Spears.
