Rey Mysterio wants a one-and-done farewell tour.
The legendary career of Rey Mysterio has spanned more than three decades with the masked phenomenon winning accolades such as the Royal Rumble, the Intercontinental Championship, and multiple World Championships in the WWE. Recently, Mysterio spoke about wanting a proper farewell when the time comes to hang up the boots.
“I think what’s left is to be able to plan a nice sunset and be able to thank everyone that has followed and supported me throughout the years, and give them, when the time is right, a good farewell. Not something that’ll happen one time and then I come back and do it again. Maybe a farewell tour. Something that can mean something to me and everyone that will be there. Whether it’s every city, a country, ‘this is the last time we’ll be together,'” he told Busted Open Radio at Fanatics Fest NYC.
Mysterio won the United States Championship a year ago to add to his legendary list of accolades in his professional wrestling career. Rey is also undefeated against his son, Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania.
