Victory Road Fallout, Build To BFG Heats Up — TNA iMPACT Results — September 19, 2024
Alisha Edwards come out and says that she’s no longer a champion after Victory Road, and she blames Masha Slamovich for them losing the titles. Alisha calls Masha out to the ring.
Masha says she’s sick of hearing Alisha’s voice. Masha steps up and gets in Alisha’s face. Tasha Steelz attacks Masha Slamovich from behind.
Masha gets the better of Tasha until Alisha nails her with a kendo stick. Jordynne Grace runs out and makes the save. She grabs the kendo stick from Alisha and hands it to Masha as she gets up.
Before anything else can happen, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards are out to surround Jordynne and Masha. Suddenly, the Hardy Boys music hits as they run down to the ring and The System scatters with Tasha Steelz.
Santino Marella comes out and says that later tonight, the Hardy’s will team up with Masha Slamovich to take on Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, and Tasha Steelz.
NXT/TNA liaison Arianna Grace comes out and says Jordynne will be teaming up with one of her best friends and an Nxt talent to take on Rosemary and Wendy Choo next week.
Backstage, Eric Young tries to talk some sense into Josh Alexander by telling him he’s been in his position before and that the young talent see Josh as a leader, so he needs to take things more seriously.
After the ad break, we see Masha Slamovich walking around. She runs into Jordynne Grace, who tells Masha she was hoping she would’ve answered an open challenge for the Knockouts World Title recently. Masha says they’ll be seeing more of each other soon. Both women continue on to the Hardy’s locker room. Matt and Jeff come to the door. Masha thanks them for her having their backs earlier and says it will be a dream to team with them as she’s looked up to them for a long time.
First Class vs. Sinner & Saint
Sinner and Saint get some good offense in.
-First Class def. Sinner & Saint when AJ Francis nailed Travis Williams with a DOWN PAYMENT, and KC Navarro followed it up with a Splash off the top rope.
Mike Santana is backstage with a barbed wire baseball bat, earthly awaiting the Texas Death Match against Johnny Dango Curtis later tonight. Santana says that he warned them about bringing out this vicious side of him, but nobody listened. Now, JDC is going to find out.
Mike Bailey is standing by with Gia Miller backstage. Bailey says that the X Division is the most competitive in all of professional wrestling because you have to be “the best of the best.” Gia says she just got word from Santino that next week, Bailey will be teaming up with Leon Slater & Kushida to take on Zachary Wentz & ABC.
Matt Cardona vs Rhino
The match goes to the outside and Rhino lands a massive Suplex to Cardona on the ramp.
–Rhino wins when Cardona nails him with a chair and gets disqualified.
Post-match, Cardona is preparing to nail Rhino with the chair again when the lights go out. The lights come back on and PCO is standing in front of Cardona. Cardona charges PCO with a chair, but PCO grabs Cardona by the neck and nails him with a chokeslam. Cardona rolls out of the ring. PCO sets the chair up near the corner of the ring and proceeds to land a PCOsault and numerous punches to the chair.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles
Spitfire vs. TBD
NXT/TNA Liaison Adrianna Grace emerges from the back and introduces their opponents, NXT stars Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey.
Jody and Dani land one of their signature moves, the double clothesline.
-Spitfire def. Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey
Backstage, Heather Reckless approaches Ash By Elegance and her Personal Concierge and asks them to help her with a makeover. Ash says they’re busy right now. Heather says that she has a match against Xia Brookside next week and asks if they can watch her match next week and then decide. Ash talks to Personal Concierge, and they agree they’ll let her know.
Texas Death Match
Johnny Dango Curtis vs. Mike Santana
Santana punches JDC in the corner, but JDC lifts Santana up and hits a massive powerbomb through some chairs.
Santana busted Dango open by rubbing the barbed wire baseball bat across his face. Both men were busted open and looking for more punishment.
-Santana def. JDC when he jumps off the top of a ladder and crushes Dango below through a table.
Post-match, Moose comes up behind Santana and nails him with a steel chair, leaving him laid out. Moose stands tall over Santana.
Joe Hendry came down to the ring talking about how he deserves a shot at the TNA World Title after his victory over Josh Alexander at Victory Road. Frankie comes out and interrupts, staking his claim to the title. Frankie calls out Nemeth to agree to put his title on the line against him.
Nic Nemeth comes out and congratulates Hendry on his victory over Josh Alexander at Victory Road, but turns his attention to Frankie. Nic says the only “title” and measure of “being a King of TNA” is the World Title, which Frankie doesn’t have.
Santino comes out and makes the match official for next week.
Backstage, Josh Alexander approaches Sinner and Saint – Judas Icarius & Travis Williams – and tells them that they need to just keep grinding and working at it to get better because TNA is another level that they’re not used to yet. Josh says if they ever need some advice that they can reach out to him.
We get a video package for Lie Ying Lee, who will be debuting next week.
Hardy Boys & Masha Slamovich vs The System (Brian Myers & Eddie a Edwards) & Tasha Steelz
Masha hits Tasha Steelz with Poetry in Motion.
Tasha Steelz makes fun of Jeff Hardy’s dance moves, and then twerks before crushing his back and tagging in Eddie Edwards.
Alisha gets ejected from ringside after getting caught interfering in the match. Alisha refused to leave, so ABC came down to ringside and physically removed her from ringside.
