Swerve Strickland is back, this Saturday at AEW WrestleDream, and he has a lot on his mind.
Swerve Strickland Returns
We have not seen Swerve Strickland for a month now, since he lost to Hangman Adam Page in the main event of AEW All Out inside of a Steel Cage. After Swerve was Knocked Out to lose the match, he’s taken a bit of a hiatus. But, AEW’s WrestleDream Pay-Per-View is in Seattle, Washington, which happens to be Swerves hometown and he will address the crowd that night in his return. Before the return, Swerve sat down with the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast where he spoke on what he could possibly address in his return.
There’s a lot in the past I could address, the last time y’all saw me I was knocked completely out my Hangman Page in a cage match. Got a lot of people talking for a whole month, and I wasn’t even on camera. So, there’s a lot I could address there, there’s a lot I could address with the current, there’s a lot I can address with the future. That’s the beauty about my presence on this show coming up. Especially my hometown, the city where I was born. Like, there’s a lot I can go into.

Swerve continues on.
Maybe the people are so enthralled and emotionally connected to me that I don’t even have to say much, I let the people say it. Maybe there’s that, maybe there’s some things I gotta say to Nana, cause there’s a lot of business things that went like, kind of, awry, with my presence being gone. No championship, lost the main event of All Out, too, back to back. But, there’s a lot of positives out there. The contract, I’m going to be signed for like another… very long time. So, there’s things to address there. My health condition, I haven’t been cleared for like a month now, so, there’s a lot of things to address there. There’s just a lot of different things I have on my mind that I can express and go a bunch of different ways, which is very more, like, this isn’t just a talking segment, no, this is me like really conveying new news, like me personally, my businesses outside of this. The mogul’s not just a name I gave myself. This is truly what I am and who I am. And now, like, we get to see where we go forward and what we address now.
