Britt Baker was absent from this week’s AEW Dynamite and now we know why.
Britt Baker Out With Illness
Britt Baker was set to face Willow Nightingale on AEW Title Tuesday Dynamite in a number one contenders match. But, it was revealed late Tuesday afternoon that Britt was pulled due to illness, with no further update. Now, Britt Baker herself took to social media to reveal that she has Strep Throat. As of now, she says she sounds worse than she feels, and she also tells fans to stock up if they’re in a hurricane zone.
Though Britt Baker did not compete at AEW Dynamite, Willow still did. She ended up winning a fatal four way match against Saraya, Nyla Rose and Jamie Hatter to earn a Championship Match against Mariah May at AEW WrestleDream.
