Jimmy Jacobs Leaves AEW
Semi-Retired Pro Wrestler Jimmy Jacobs joined All Elite Wrestling in 2023 after leaving TNA to be a writer. Often, Tony Khan referred to Jimmy as his right hand man as Jimmy worked on most shows in the writers room. Now, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has revealed that Jimmy Jacobs has departed from the company.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Jimmy Jacobs has finished up with All Elite Wrestling. We’re told that Jacobs effectively resigned over the past week, and that the two sides remain on amicable terms. We’re told that AEW is going to look at the move as a way to freshen up the writers room, and that Jacobs had been burned out of late.

Jacobs had been at the most shows of anyone that worked directly with Tony Khan during his time in AEW
Jimmy Jacobs competed in ROH while working for AEW a couple of times. With the split being amicable, we could possibly see Jimmy back in the company in the future. Jacobs was also a former WWE writer as well.
