A former AEW TNT Champion is backstage in Tacoma, Washington at AEW WrestleDream.
The last time we saw Powerhouse Hobbs on TV, he was battling Jon Moxley in an eliminator for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the April 24 edition of AEW Dynamite. Now, it seems like he might be back in the mix of things after what our sources told us at BodySlam.
Powerhouse Hobbs is backstage at the Tacoma, Dome in Tacoma Washington at AEW WrestleDream tonight according to sources that we at Bodyslam have spoken to.
The last update that was received on the injury rehab was that Hobbs was cleared for action, according to Fightful Select on October 6. There is no word yet on if AEW has plans for Hobbs for the show tonight, but, it could mean that plans in the future do include Hobbs in them now that he is able to return for the first time in six months.
Hobbs was backstage this past week at AEW Dynamite and has been cleared for the last couple of weeks. We at BodySlam will keep you updated on any news we hear about Hobbs and his return to the ring in the near future.
