Bryan Danielson Reportedly Wanted His Full-Time AEW Run To End Against Jon Moxley
The American Dragon got his wish.
The full-time run of Bryan Danielson’s career has come to a close in the most dramatic fashion possible and this is how the former AEW World Champion always wanted it to be when he won the gold at All In.
According to Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp was told by sources that Danielson chose Jon Moxley to be the man responsible for this result happening. Danielson knew that this would be the ending that no one thought could happen, and when it did, the world has been buzzing about it since the referee made the three-count.
Danielson is not expected to come back any time soon, the plan that Danielson has spoken about a lot is that he needs surgery for his neck, and then he wants to spend time with his wife and kids before thinking about resuming anything wrestling-wise next year or in the foreseeable future.
Moxley winning the AEW World Championship didn’t come without shock and tears as he had Wheeler Yuta put the nail in the coffin by suffocating Danielson with the plastic bag that was used at AEW All Out when Moxley stabbed Danielson in the back following his AEW World Championship match against Jack Perry.
