Hiroshi Tanahashi: My Final Match Will Take Place At Wrestle Kingdom 20 On January 4, 2026
The Ace will officially hang up the boots to kick off 2026.
During the events of NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling, Hiroshi Tanahashi would go on to announce that after announcing that 2025 would be his last year as a full-time competitor in the ring, he will now officially be retiring from professional wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 20 in 2026.
Tanahashi currently serves as the President of New Japan Pro-Wrestling where he still competed throughout the year to make sure fans didn’t miss out on an opportunity to see him compete.
