The Undertaker: Today’s Generation Doesn’t Have The Same Pride We Did Of Being A Professional Wrestler

The Undertaker had some bold words to share about today’s wrestlers.

During a sitdown with Booker T on the Undertaker’s podcast Six Feet Under, the Deadman and the former King of the Ring discussed kayfabe in their day and in today’s generation where the Phenom doesn’t think that the wrestlers of today have pride in being professional wrestlers like he and Booker T were.

“There is such a concerted effort to let everyone know what it is that we do. ‘We try to protect the magic.’ No we don’t. It’s wide open. There is no pride in the industry and what it is. They don’t have the same kind of pride. Yes, they are great performers, they can do great things, they are more athletic than we ever were. That’s great. There are some, but overall, the majority, they don’t have the pride of being a professional wrestler,” said Undertaker.

The Undertaker has stated before that today’s generation is in the same light as stars from the NBA and the NFL.
