On October 14th, 2024 NJPW aired King Of Pro Wrestling live in Tokyo Japan inside Ryogoku Kokugikan in front of 6,211 fans & can watch it on NJPW World.

Note: This review will be shorter then normal as it be the last few mins of the match.

Hiromu Takahashi vs. Mistico

Mistico hits a Spanish Fly for a nearfall then a Canadian Destroyer.

Hiromu Takahashi applied a standing Figure 4.

Takahashi turned it over so it looked like a Sharpshooter and Mistico taps out.

Bullet Club War Dogs (Drilla Moloney & Clark Connors) (c) vs. Jett Setters (Kevin Knight & Kushida)

Drilla Moloney hits a powerbomb with Clark Connors catching Kushida’s head for a stunner before Connors hit a spear on Kushida.

Bullet Club War Dogs hits front & back spears on Kushida for a near fall.

Knight got a jackknife on Connors to score the win.

TMDK (c) vs. Rouge Army (Bad Luck Fale & Caveman Ugg)

Mikey Nicholls hits a DDT on Cavemen Ugg then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb then a cover but Bad Luck Fale made the save.

TMDK hits a back suplex move on Fale then hits Thunder Valley on Ugg for the win.

Winners & Still IWGP Tag Team Champions: TMDK (7:49) (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)

Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Ryohei Oiwa

Ryohei Oiwa hits a Doctor Bomb for a near fall before Shingo Takagi hits Pumping Bomber for a near fall.

Oiwa hit a dropkick before Takagi hits a Saito Suplex then another Pumping Bomber then a standing powerbomb for a near fall.

He hit another Pumping Bomber follow by Last Of The Dragon for the win. 

Winner & Still NEVER Openweight Champion: Shingo Takagi (10:42) (STILL CHAMPION!!!)

Television Title Triple Threat Match
Jeff Cobb (c) vs. Yota Tsuji vs. Ren Narita

Ren Narita tied up Jeff Cobb’s legs but Cobb reached the ropes before Narita went for Double Cross but Yota Tsuji blocked it.

Tsuji sets up for Gene Blaster but Cobb caught him and hits Tour Of The Islands.

However Narita pulls the ref from the ring & hits a low blow on Cobb.

He grabs his push up bar and struck Cobb in the head with it then hits Double Cross on Cobb for the victory.

Winner & New Television Champion: Ren Narita (12:27) (NEW CHAMPION!!!)

NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, El Phantasmo & Shota Umino vs. House Of Torture (Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Yujiro Takahashi & Evil)

Hiroshi Tanahashi tags in and battled Yujiro Takahashi then hits a 2nd rope summersault senton for a near fall. Togo hits Tanahashi in the back with a corner pad. Togo hits a knife edge chop to Tanahashi’s groin.

The ref saw Evil with a walking staff and confiscated it.

Tanahashi hits a sling blade on Takahashi then High Fly Flow for the win.

Winners: NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, El Phantasmo & Shota Umino (9:05)

Junior Heavyweight Title Match
Douki (c) vs. Sho

Sho got a chair and cracked it over the top of Douki’s unprotected head then he hits a piledriver on a thin mat at ringside. They got into the ring and Sho ripped off Douki’s mask.

However, Douki had paint on his face & sprayed mist in Sho’s face.

Douki laughed like a maniac before he hits Suplex De La Luna for the win.

Winner & Still Junior Heavyweight Champion: Douki (0:14) (STILL CHAMPION!!!)

Global Title Match
David Finlay (c) vs. Hirooki Goto

Hirooki Goto hits a neckbreaker over his knee then GTR for a near fall.

Goto hits a swinging side slam before Gedo tried to interfere but Yoshi Hashi pulls him off the apron.

Finlay got his shillelagh and struck Goto with it for a near fall.

Finlay hit a standing powerbomb with a jackknife cover for a near fall.

Goto went for GTR but Finlay avoided it. Finlay hits Overkill for the win.

Winner & Still Global Champion: David Finlay (16:58) (STILL CHAMPION!!!)

IWGP World Heavyweight Title Match
Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. 2024 G1 Climax Winner Zack Sabre Jr

Tetsuya Naito hits a brainbuster then went for another Destino but Zack Sabre Jr avoided it and ZSJ hits a Gotch Style Piledriver. ZSJ hits a running Penalty Kick. Naito hits a 2nd Destino for a near fall.

ZSJ blocks a Destino before Naito went for a springboard tornado DDT but he got a roll up instead.

ZSJ hits a clothesline and a Zack Driver for a near fall.

He hits a 2nd one for a near fall then he hits a 3rd Zack Driver for the win.

Winner & New IWGP World Heavyweight Champion: Zack Sabre Jr (24:41) (NEW CHAMPION!!!)
