Damian Priest Says He Believes The New York Yankees Will Win The World Series This Year

The Archer of Infamy is pulling for NY.

While speaking to Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Damian Priest, who was in attendance to watch game two of the American League Championship Series between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians spoke about how he believes that this is their year to take it all.

“The Yankees, they’re my team. That’s why I was so honored to bring the title to Yankee Stadium. Jose Trevino’s a big WWE fan, and we’ve kept in touch. I love to support my friends, and he’s a friend. There are a lot of guys on the team who like wrestling. Trevino and Tommy [Kahnle] are the two biggest wrestling fans on the team, and [Nick] Swisher is a huge fan, too. I’m always pulling for them. I really think this is their year,” Priest said.

Priest got to witness the Yankees take a two-to-nothing lead in the ALCS series against the Guardians as they are two more wins away from their first World Series in over a decade.
