Two WWE Hall of Famers are believed to be having a lil gossip sesh in the coming days.
That’s according to Politico Reporter Alex Isenstadt who, on Oct. 8, tweeted that “Trump is expected to do an interview this week on the Undertaker podcast, which is hosted by retired wrestling great Mark Calaway, per person familiar.”
Note that Isenstadt said “this week,” and tweeted it on Oct. 8, which was nine days ago. But that could simply mean that Trump recorded the podcast, and that The Undertaker will release it in the future.
It’s also unknown who “person familiar” is. A person familiar with whom? With Trump? Or with The Undertaker? It’s possible the “person familiar” is The Undertaker’s younger brother, Kane, who is also the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee and has proven himself to be a tried and true Trump sycophant.
Regardless, Trump appearing on The Undertaker’s podcast may surprise some, but it shouldn’t. While The Undertaker has never explicitly made his political affiliations known, he does wear lots of conservative-inspired t-shirts, such as shirts made by companies like Thin Blue Line and more. It’s possible that Calaway just believes that Trump is a huge, important guest to have on his podcast. It’s also possible that, like his kayfabe younger half-brother, he believes Trump is The Way, The Truth, and The Life and that whomever goes to heaven has to go through Trump.
The Undertaker is the only former or current WWE Superstar to host the former star of The Apprentice. Former United States Champion Logan Paul also hosted Trump. Paul, who is a known transphobe, had Trump appear on his IMPAULSIVE podcast just a few months ago.
While The Undertaker and Logan Paul may be Trump fans, a peer of theirs is decidedly not.
Former WWE Champion Batista recently made his thoughts on Trump very well known, on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live:
“Fellas, we gotta talk,” Batista said in a pre-recorded video. “A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not. I mean, look at him, he wears more makeup than Dolly Parton. He whines like a baby. The guy is afraid of birds. Donald Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to say his little feet hurt so he could dodge the draft. Look at that gut. It’s like a garbage bag full of buttermilk.”
Batista is one of The Undertaker’s most famous opponents and it seems as though both men are now on opposite sides of the political squared circle.
Of course, if The Undertaker also hosts Kamala Harris on a future episode, we’ll take back everything we said. Until then, however, the only time people can look forward to Donald Trump being Six Feet Under, is when he appears on the podcast.
