Bully Ray wasn’t a fan of the match between Mone and Aminata.
On the October 16 edition of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Mone defended her AEW TBS Championship against Queen Aminata where Mone would walk out as the victor of the bout as she put Aminata away with her submission.
On an episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray was not a fan of the match and this was what the WWE Hall of Famer had to say.
“The important lesson coming out of there is if you don’t make nobody, you didn’t beat nobody. And I learned that from Jerry Brisco. Mone did not make Aminata at all. And then if you look at the last minute of the match, she just strung like four or five moves together and then put her in the middle of the ring, [applied the] cross-face, and made the girl tap. That does absolutely nothing for her, nothing.”
Mone’s next challenger for her TBS Championship is expected to be against Kris Statlander, the former holder of the title when she defeated the undefeated Jade Cargill.
