WWE To Return To 3 Hour Shows, SmackDown Included
6 hours of Main Roster viewing is coming up next year.
SmackDown And Raw For 3 Hours
WWE RAW is currently 2 hours for the remainder of time they’re on the USA Network, until the move to Netflix in January. SmackDown has always been 2 hours, but with RAW’s move off of USA, that will change. Per WrestleVotes BackStage, Smackdown will be three hours starting with the January 3 show, the first of 2025. It will remain that way until the May 30 episode. Additionally, it is expected that in January Raw will also return to the three-hour format with its move to Netflix. It’s likely that NXT talent will be brought in prior to the Draft to cover the 6 hours of programming.
How do you feel about 6 hours of main roster programming? Plus, with the addition of NXT talent being called up, how will this effect the current landscape of WWE NXT?
