Ice Ribbon Star Yuki Mashiro Claims Talent Wages Are Not Being Paid And There Is No Communication From President Kazuhito Goshima
On October 19th, Ice Ribbon star Yuki Mashiro defeated YuuRi to win the ICExInfinity Championship at Korakuen Hall in front of over 300 fans. This marked the first time that the 23 year old Mashiro has won the ICExInfinity Title and it should have been a time for celebration for the new champion but unfortunately this was not the case.
Following her win, Mashiro took the mic and tearfully brought light to a very bad situation that appears to be occurring within the Ice Ribbon promotion. According to Mashiro, the wrestlers aren’t getting paid and all communication with Ice Ribbon President Kazuhito Goshima has been cut off.
Well… I can’t go into details, but we haven’t been able to get in touch with him since a month ago, or since last month, or maybe late last month, and all of our calls and contacts have been cut off, and he hasn’t responded to anything. No matter how many times we contact him or call him, he doesn’t respond. Even though we all contacted President Goshima, he never responded, so we were all really anxious going into today. What should we do? What should we do? How? Everyone is naturally really anxious about the president being gone, and yes, we’re putting our bodies on the line, risking our lives to do this, so the fact that the person who is in charge of the money and other aspects is gone, I’m sorry, I can’t really explain it well, I’m sorry.”

Yuki Mashiro on if the Ice Ribbon competitors are getting paid:
“I can’t say it myself, but that’s the situation. Yes. That’s why I was in a very anxious state heading into today.”

This appears to be a very dire situation for Ice Ribbon and President Goshima is nowhere to be found. If new developments within Ice Ribbon doesn’t happen soon to ease the worried talent, we could very well see the end of Ice Ribbon or at the very least a mass exodus from the promotion.
