Lance Archer Reveals He And Brian Cage Have Pitched Teaming Up Prior To Being Paired Together

Lance Archer has wanted this to happen for quite some time.

While speaking on his show The Hawk’s Nest with Marcus DeAngelo (via 1TS), Lance Archer brought up his new tag team partner, Brian Cage, who is also the current ROH World Television Champion, and now, the two will be teaming up together as part of the Don Callis Family with Archer revealing that both men have pitched it before.

“I think it’s a good combination. It’s a combination that we’ve tried to have happen a few different times. We’ve fought each other on the independent scene, we’ve never actually fought each other in AEW. We’ve called each other out at different times. But I think you’ve got The Machine, you’ve got The Monster, you throw us together, who knows what the hell’s gonna happen?” Archer said.

At AEW Battle Of The Belts, both Cage and Archer demolished the team of Jack Cartwheel and Jon Cruz to make their first impact as a team together.
