Booker T Jokes That He Is The Reason Why Winning The King Of The Ring Grants You A World Title Shot

King Booker will live forever.

While speaking on the Undertaker’s podcast, Six Feet Under, Booker T, who won the King of the Ring in his career would crack the joke that because he is the only man to win the World Heavyweight Championship, that’s the reason why the WWE now has the winner of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament will be granted a World Championship match at SummerSlam.

“I’m the only King that won the Heavyweight Championship,” said Booker T. “Now, they’ve put in place where if you win the King of the Ring, you actually get a title shot — that’s because of me. That was because of me, I just want to throw that out there [laughs].”

Gunther and Nia Jax won their respective tournaments and would win the World Heavyweight, and Women’s World Championships at SummerSlam against Damian Priest, and Bayley.
