On October 19th, 2024 AEW aired the 12th annual Battle Of The Belts
Note: This review will be shorter then normal as it be the last few mins of the match.
-Kicking off Battle Of The Belts 12 with BCC roughing up Top Flight & Action Andretti. Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness were on commentary. Dark Order ran out tried to help. After BCC got the better of Dark Order, Moxley said they would make their dreams come true by defending the Trios Titles against them on the spot.
Trios Titles Match
Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & PAC) (c) vs. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver
Claudio Castagnoli pressed Alex Reynolds over his head and hits a gutbuster.
Castagnoli put Reynolds in the Sharpshooter.
Wheeler Yuta tried to bring a chair in the ring but the referee stopped him.
PAC jumped off the top rope and locks in Brutalizer for the submission win.
Winners & Still Trios Champions: Blackpool Combat Club (5:08) (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!)

-After the match Yuta put Reynolds in Cattle Mutilation while the rest of his crew roughed up Evil Uno & John Silver. Castagnoli & Yuta eventually held Silver’s arm over the ring steps while Shafir slams the case over it. Daniel Garcia & Private Party ran out causing Moxley’s crew to hop the barricade. Orange Cassidy came out and surveyed the situation before walking to the back.
Continental Title Match
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly
Kazuchika Okada hits a Rainmaker and then followed up with a dropkick.
Okada went for Rainmaker but Kyle O’Reilly caught him with a kick. O’Reilly put Okada in a guillotine.
Okada escaped then slams O’Reilly to the mat then hits Rainmaker to score the win.
Winner & Still Continental Champion: Kazuchika Okada (18:22) (STILL CHAMPION!!!)

-A video package set up the match between Mariah May & Anna Jay.
-Rush & Dralistico delivered a backstage promo. Rush said they will destroy every wrestler in every faction in the company. Dralistico said they will burn. The camera pulled back and showed The Beast Mortos choking out Hologram. Rush delivered his catchphrase and then LFI put their fists together.
Tag Team Match
Murder Machines (Lance Archer & Brain Cage) vs. Jack Cartwheel & Jon Cruz
Lance Archer hits a Chokeslam on Jon Cruz while Brian Cage hits him with a powerbomb for the win.
Winners: Murder Machines (2:37)

-Backstage Lexi Nair spoke with Undisputed Kingdom while The Beast Mortos stood by. Mike Bennett gave Mortos a plate of meat. Roderick Strong told Mortos that something was off with him. Bennett said it wasn’t cool that Mortos took out Hologram. Matt Taven said it wasn’t cool that Mortos wore a polo shirt when he didn’t do the same while he represented him. Strong said they weren’t mad, they were disappointed
Non Title Match
Women’s Champion Mariah May vs. Anna Jay
If Jay wins she gets a Women’s Title Match.
Mariah May hits a Saito Suplex and covered her for a near fall then both wrestlers traded pin attempts.
May caught Anna Jay with a headbutt and tried to hoist her up but Jay slips away and hooked her into a pin for the win.
Winner: Anna Jay (12:07) (Since Jay won she gets a Women’s Title Match)
