Mark Briscoe: Kyle Fletcher Is Really Starting To Make Waves And Show The World What He Can Do
Mark Briscoe talks about Kyle Fletcher.
At AEW WrestleDream, Mark Briscoe successfully defended the ROH World Championship against Chris Jericho on the same night that Kyle Fletcher betrayed Will Ospreay to help Konosuke Takeshita win the AEW International Championship. When asked about Fletcher, this is what Briscoe had to say about the young rising star on the Battleground Podcast.
“As far as breakout star in, I mean, in Ring of Honor, I mean, man, that’s a tough question because there’s so much young talent. There’s so much, so much young, hungry talent,” Briscoe said. “I’m trying to think here about guys who are exclusive and who haven’t really crossed over into AEW too much. But I mean, like a guy a couple months ago I wrestled. I’d say he’s probably considered an AEW guy by now, but a guy that I wrestled for the title, for the Ring of Honor Title on HonorClub a couple months ago because he pinned me on Dynamite was Kyle Fletcher. Kyle Fletcher is 100% a blue chip, five-star prospect, and he’s just starting to really make waves and really just show what he can do. So, man, keep an eye on Fletcher for sure.”
Mark will defend his gold once again against Chris Jericho, this time on the 10/23 edition of AEW Dynamite in a Ladder Match.
