Ladder Wars is back, but under the AEW umbrella.
ROH Ladder Wars
Ladder Wars was a staple for the Ring Of Honor brand in years past, and Mark Briscoe is a veteran of the match type. Now, with Briscoe as the ROH Champion and in a feud with Chris Jericho, he made the challenge for a Ladder Wars match on AEW Dynamite.
The match kicked off with a very fast start, Jericho was put through two tables almost immediately. As the match went on, the chaos continued. Mark went through a ladder, Jericho went through a ladder, more tables were broke, blood was shed and both men put it all on the line. Bryan Keith and Rocky Romero both got involved, but in the end, Mark Briscoe went to climb the ladder, but Big Bill knocked him down and choke slammed him through two tables on the outside. Chris Jericho was helped up the ladder and won the ROH Title.
Following the match, a returning Tomohiro Ishii made his presence known
