Orange Cassidy: I Have No Choice But To Fight If The People Around Me I Care About Most Are Getting Hurt

Orange Cassidy never knew it would be like this.

At the end of the 10/23 edition of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy was forced to witness the disgusting attack by Claudio Castagnoli who stomped a chair onto the neck of Chuck Taylor, the best friend of OC’s who told him earlier in the night that he needed to fight the Blackpool Combat Club for All Elite Wrestling.

Now, OC knows that he has to fight, whether he likes it or not, so that his friends can stop getting targeted and attacked by the Blackpool Combat Club.

“No, and I don’t think that I am, nor should I be. I don’t want that. I never wanted that. I wanted to do what I had to do and go home. After what happened last night, it’s been made very clear to me that I think I have no choice in the situation. Before, early in AEW, there was always this thing of ‘Oh, he’s going to try. He’ll care this time.’ I don’t feel that I have any choice in this matter. I have to fight now. I have to fight. I don’t want to, but if the people around me that I care about the most are going to be hurt, then I really have no choice in the matter,” he said to Good Karma Wrestling.

OC also said that he will address the situation on the next episode of AEW Dynamite on October 30 where Swerve Strickland will make his return to face Shelton Benjamin of the Hurt Syndicate.
