Eric Bischoff: Dixie Carter’s Idea Of What Worked And Didn’t Work For TNA All Came From Social Media
Eric Bischoff recently talked about Dixie Carter.
During his time working at TNA, Eric Bischoff served as an Executive Producer for the company while Dixie Carter was the President of TNA. Throughout that time, the two would butt heads with each other with ideas and ways they wanted to handle the promotion which ultimately would not work out for either person as TNA continued to flood until proper change was made.
“Dixie would drive me f***ing crazy,” Bischoff admitted. “I really liked Dixie, but she’d sit at gorilla … and the whole time the show’s going on, she’s not watching anything on a monitor. Nothing. Not listening to the crowd. She’s reading tweets and sending them. … Dixie’s idea of what worked and didn’t work all came from social media.” Bischoff said on his podcast 83 Weeks.
Bischoff would eventually move on from TNA, although Carter does remain a minority shareholder in the company.
