Kevin Nash: The Main Event Mafia Was Money, It Was A Bad Move For TNA To Let Not Us Reach That Full Expectation

Kevin Nash opened up about his time in TNA.

On a recent episode of his podcast ‘Kliq This‘ the WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash opened up about his time in TNA Wrestling where he was part of the Main Event Mafia, which would consist of him, Sting, Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner, and Booker T.

The group was entertaining and interesting for fans who wanted the group to be beaten up by the TNA Front Line which consisted of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and the Motor City Machine Guns.

Nash would go on to say that it was a bad move from TNA to not let the group reach their full expectation.

“I think the Main Event Mafia thing, that was money,” Nash said. “It was a bad move to let [Booker T] go. And once Book left, [I] said, ‘F, I’m bolting.’ And I heard Book was gonna be at that Royal Rumble and I said, ‘S, not without me.’ I dyed my s*** black and went out there.”

Nash and Booker would make their return at the 2011 WWE Royal Rumble before they had storylines they were involved in as the year progressed.
