It’s WAR time.
Number One Contenders Match
The finals of the contenders tournament for the tag team titles took place on WWE RAW. The triple threat match featured LWO (Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee) vs. War Raiders vs. New Day. Dragon Lee, Ivar and Kofi Kingston kick off the match in Triple Threat style. Ivar was on a role early, but all hell broke loose when every team member ran into the ring and got involved. Erik and Ivar cleaned house momentarily.
Every team had their moments throughout the match, but, Xavier Woods started to get booed, which caused him to make a tag, allowing Kofi Kingston to start cooking. He almost had Rey Mysterio finished, but the pin was broken. With everyone on the outside, Kofi dove off the top to take everybody out. Everything seemed to be going well for The New Day, then, Woods was too caught up with Rey Mysterio, allowing Kofi to be distracted. Chad Gable then ran out and attacked Rey, allowing the War Raiders to take out Kofi and get the win.
War Raiders vs. Judgement Day is to come down the line.
