Cody Rhodes: If Tom Aspinall Were To Step In The Wrestling Ring At Any Point, He Would Fit Like A Glove
Cody Rhodes talks about the interim UFC Heavyweight Champion.
While speaking with The Schmo, current WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes reflected on the moment he shared the ring on October 16 with the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and current UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall.
Rhodes would go on to praise the kind of person Aspinall is and said he would fit in the wrestling ring.
“He is what we’d call Meat and Potatoes. Meat and Potatoes is a lot of slugging it out. A lot of big forearms to the back, a lot of chops, not leaving your feet much. When you’re as big as he is and as athletic as he is, he’s really going to fill that big man spot for pro wrestling. If he was to step in at any point, it would fit like a glove,” – Rhodes said.
Aspinall is currently preparing to fight the winner of Stipe Miocic vs. Jon Jones to see who will be the Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion in 2025.
