Charles Oliveira Open To BMF Title Fight Against Max Holloway

Charles wants to be BMF.

Oliveira vs. Holloway 2?

After losing to Ilia Topuria for the Featherweight Title last month, Max Holloway has revealed that he is permanently moving up to the lightweight division. Max is no stranger to a lot of the competitors in the division, especially Charles Oliveira.

Back in 2015, Holloway and Oliveira fought in the Fight Night 74 main event. Sadly, the fight didn’t last long as Oliveira was injured in the first round and Holloway walked away victorious. Now that Max Holloway is BMF Champion and in the 155lbs division, Oliveira was asked at Media Day if he would be interested in that rematch.

I think it would be amazing, listen, all the greats I’ve fought, finished, knocked out. With him, I had the injury, so I think it would be a great opportunity.

Charles has to get past Michael Chandler this Saturday at UFC 309, but a fight against Max Holloway is certainly very likely in the future. You can see the full card for UFC 309 here.
