Jon Jones Not Done After UFC 309 Win, Teases What’s Next
What sound does a Goat make? Ask Jon Jones.
What’s Next For Jon Jones?
Jon Jones successfully defended his UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 309 after a dominant showing over Stipe Miocic. Jones dominated rounds one and two before finishing Stipe with a body-kick in the third. Following the fight, Jon Jones had his post-fight speech and said he will be sticking around, teasing what’s to come!
I’ve decided that maybe I will not retire. I have some conversations to be had with Dana and Hunter, and we have some negotiating to do and if everything goes right, maybe we’ll give you guys what you want to see.
The crowd cheered for that, which prompted Joe Rogan to ask if Jon means a fight with Alex Pereira or a fight with Tom Aspinall.
I know that we have options, and so, I’m just going to see what Dana, uncle Dana, wants and what uncle Hunter wants and you guys will hear about it soon I’m sure.
Whichever it is, Jon Jones is sticking around. Meanwhile, Stipe did retire. You can see the full UFC 309 results here.
