Israel Adesanya has been absent since UFC 305 earlier this year when he lost to current UFC Middleweight Champion Dricus Du Plessis. But, it seems like he may be on his way back. Knockoutalerts has reported that Israel Adesanya vs. Nassourdine Imavov is in the works to headline the second UFC Saudi Arabia Fight Night scheduled for Feb. 1, 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fight is the plan, but contracts have not been officially signed.
If the fight takes place, this will be Adesanya’s (24-4) first non-title bout in five years. Meanwhile, Imavov has been on a streak as of recent with wins over Roman Dolizde, Jared Cannonier, and Brendan Allen. A win over Adesanya would boost him up into title contention. We will update if the fight becomes official.
