The Don Callis Family Wins All-Star Tag Match On AEW Dynamite
It’s All-Star time.
AEW Dynamite kicked off with an All-Star 8-Man Tag Team Match. On one side, we have Ricochet, Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs and the returning Mark Davis, who hasn’t wrestled in a year due to injury. On the opposite side, we have Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage and Lance Archer.
This match didn’t take long to kick off, as the fan-favorite team ran up the ramp and attacked their opponents to get things going. All eight men brawled around ringside in the early going until eventually, Mark Davis and Konosuke Takeshita got in the ring to officially start the match. Mark Davis was showing his speed and strength in the early going, proving he is 100% following his return.
We had Ricochet flying over the top, Matk Davis tossing his opponents like a football and Cage and Archer being destructive together, which caused Hobbs to be taken to the back after they smashed his knee into the steel steps.
But, as the match started to wind down, the big man, Powerhouse Hobbs, limped his way back down to the ring when his team needed him most. Hobbs made the hot tag and started to take out everybody on the opposing team. Despite having one bad leg, Hobbs had the match in his hands.
In the end, the match started to break down as everyone ran in, but, it was Will Ospreay who accidentally hit Mark Davis with the hidden blade after Fletcher pulled him in the way. Takeshita hit his running knee on Davis and picked up the win for his team.
