WWE has a new Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Earlier tonight, it was reported that WWE announced a Women’s Intercontinental Championship ahead of tonight’s WWE RAW. Now, they’ve made it official on the show. WWE taped Adam Pearce announcing and revealing the new Women’s Intercontinental Title before the live show. During the reveal, Pearce showed off the title design, which is similar to the men’s, but has a white strap.
Pearce then revealed that there will be a tournament to crown the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion and it starts next Monday, December 2, on WWE RAW. So far, there have been no names announced for the tournament. but, with the United States Title tournament being all SmackDown talent, it’s safe to say this tournament will be exclusive to the women of RAW.
