LOS ANGELES, CA – In a groundbreaking move for the world of professional wrestling, WWE and Netflix today announced a partnership that will bring Monday Night Raw to the streaming platform in January.
The announcement was made at a major media event held at Netflix Headquarters in Los Angeles, attended by top executives from both companies and a star-studded lineup of WWE Superstars.
Among those present were Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, CM Punk, The Miz, Bianca Belair, and Becky Lynch. The appearance of Lynch, who has been absent from WWE television for several months, fueled speculation that she is on the verge of returning to action.
PWInsider reports that Lynch has either signed a new contract with WWE or is close to doing so, further suggesting that her return is imminent.
The partnership between WWE and Netflix is expected to significantly expand the reach of Monday Night Raw, bringing the popular wrestling program to a global audience.
“This is a historic moment for WWE and Netflix,” said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
