Kai Asakura On Alexandre Pantoja: I Believe He’s Currently The Best Fighter Out There

UFC 310 live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada is tonight. The event is headlined by UFC Flyweight Champion Alexandre Pantoja taking on UFC debutant, Kai Asakura. 

Ahead of the fight, both fighters have been talking all week about each other. But, Kai was recently asked at media day when he thought of Alexandre Pantoja as a champion, to which he responded by saying he’s the best. 

I believe he’s an excellent athlete. Collectively, I believe he’s currently the best fighter out there. But, “you need to beat me first,” is the thought I have in mind. Leave it to me to lead the UFC back to Japan. I wish for nothing more.

UFC 310 kicks off tonight on ESPN+ for the prelims at 6PM ET, which the main card kicking off on Pay-Per-View at 10PM. Bodyslam will have coverage of the event.
