Who hotta than Dolla?

During a recent interview with Bodyslam.net’s DC Hendrix on The Wrestleholics Podcast, A.J. Francis joined to discuss a variety of different topics.

On of which was TNA Final Resolution, will take place on Friday, December 13th, at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia where TNA Champion, Nic Nemeth is set to defend the title against A.J. Francis.

A year ago, Francis was released from WWE for the second time. As the company didn’t really see him as an everyday superstar, he knew he was bigger than that and just needed an opportunity.

“A year ago, I was the f*** laughing stock. They would have assumed that I would never wrestling again. I didn’t just become good at cutting promos. All I needed was an opportunity. I have nobody to thank other than TNA and Tommy Dreamer for making sure this happened,” says Francis.

In fact, Dreamer told Francis that Nemeth was the one who wanted the work with him in TNA.

“I found this out through Tommy. Nic Nemeth was the one who wanted work with me. He worked with me one time in a tag team match. It was me and KC (KC Navarro) against him (Nemeth) and Joe Hendry. And he came out of that saying I need to work something with A.J. He’s one of the most respected wrestlers in this business,” says Francis.

As the two head into their match at Final Resolution on Friday, it’ll be intriguing to see how well the two work together in a one-on-one match.
