AEW Pulls Willie Mack From Upcoming GCW Event
Another bites the dust.
AEW vs. GCW
The saga between AEW and GCW has continued. Recently, lots has been made about Ricky Starks turning up to GCW, setting up some matches and then being pulled from the event by AEW. Despite Ricky not being on AEW TV, he is under contract and has been stopped from working GCW events. Now, another one is pulled.
Willie Mack, who typically works ROH, is under a deal with AEW. He also had a booking with GCW coming up in Los Angeles on December 14, “Highest In The Room.” Willie was supposed to take on Sidney Akeem, the former Reginald in WWE. Well, AEW has now pulled GCW from that match. GCW first told Fightful.

The only current star working both GCW and AEW is Matt Cardona, who’s set to be at both companies Hammerstein Ballroom shows. But, he’s not under contract with either.
