She’s back!
Mariah May vs. Mina Shirakawa
Mariah May has turned on everyone she loved and now, she must defend her AEW Women’s Championship against Mona Shirakawa in the main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
These two have been going back and forth for weeks now. Blood, bitterness and constant attacks have been fueling this former friendship turned bitter rivalry and they finally got to settle the score. Mina was rolling in the early going and it seemed like she had real potential to become the new champion.
Of course, Mariah May found a way to bounce back and ended up hitting Mina with the Storm Zero, former rival Toni Storm’s finisher, and that’s all she wrote. Mariah May retained the gold. But, then, Toni Storm’s music hit. But, not the Toni that we’ve come to know in the past year, no. The original Toni Storm has returned and set her sights on the champ.
